Launch of Central Coast Poets Inc. 2010 Anthology

The members of Central Coast Poets Inc, invite you to celebrate the launch by eminent poet Jean Kent of their latest anthology "Off the Path" (Picaro press) Saturday 11th September, from 1.30pm-3.30pm, at Pearl Beach Memorial Hall, Diamond Road, Pearl Beach.
The anthology showcases winning and selected entries from the 2010 Henry Kendall Poetry Award as well as CCP members' work. Light refreshments will be served and books available for purchase at $16 per copy.

Central Coast Fellowship of Australian Writers

On September 12, they will be holding another writer's workshop with Jill Mather, as they were very pleased with the success of the workshop held in June. To attend the September workshop or the Gosford meetings which are held the 3rd Sunday each month, please contact Helen Luidens on 4363 2627 for details. The next meeting is on Sunday 19th September at the Gosford Hotel.

Gosford Arts Centre Library

This library was started by the Multi Arts Confederation from books on art donated by members. It is managed by the Central Coast Art Society's Librarian Sue Jokinen who is busy collating the books donated by Jan and Cas Van Puffelen which have just been added. An honour system applies for borrowing. Please register your name and that of the book borrowed, and your phone number in the Register with date of borrowing, and sign when returned. There is a fantastic collection of books in the collection. Which are often used by students in the art classes for inspiration.
