Frida Kahlo the Mexican self-portrait artist was a feminist who married Diego Rivera and led a tempestuous, political, artistic and sexual revolutionary life.
The film 'Frida' made in 2002 is a biogaphy of her life. It won two awards and starred Salme Hayak and Geoffrey Rush.
